I hope everyone is doing well! I feel like I say this a lot but I am sorry for my lack of posts. I promise I have not given up on my blog!! I love it too much! Balancing a 9-5 job with a dog (my child) , keeping up with a workout routine, trying to eat and cook healthy meals at home and PLAN a wedding has been making my blogging time quite difficult. I defiently had a reality check when I went back to work like most of America #moneyyy — I do hope I can work from home for the majority of my career again soon, but until now I am posting whenever I can!
I had been wanting to post this gingham outfit. I had these pictures taken a month ago but am posting it now because I just noticed that this entire outfit is on SALE! score!
The pants are just $21 and I think would also look super cute with a body suit and jean jacket. The shirt is also on sale for $21 and would look super cute with skinny jeans or even white shorts with sandals.
I also have this gingham off the shoulder top which is a little more comfy to have on really hot days. I wore it for N’s bday party we had at Dave N Busters last weekend 🙂
Thanks for your support and following along with my blog. I appreciate my readers SO much. Next week, I will share my elegant wedding invitations that I scored for half the price!! Check back.
We’re heading to NYC again this weekend for my second dress fitting — follow along on Snap to see what we’re up to 🙂 We plan to explore CP again and more of the city.
I hope you all have a wonderful SUNNY (finally!) weekend.
I am SO excited for Easter. It is my favorite Holiday – comes close to Christmas, but it definitely takes 1st place. The pastels, the spring weather, the short dresses, the floral, the ruffles, the bows, the chocolate bunnies — I just love everything about it!
I started attending church on a regular weekly basis again and I am pretty happy about it! When I graduated college and moved away from home, it became hard keeping up with Sunday mass. However, N is doing the RCIA program so we can get married in a Catholic church. My grandmother cries happy tears every night. Church has also brought us closer as we both attend Sunday Mass together. I even went today (on a TUESDAY!) just to reflect and mediate a bit. It is very refreshing.
SO, for EASTER SUNDAY, I always remember getting a new fresh Spring outfit just to go to church! My mom used to dress my sister and I in pink ruffle dresses and my sister HATED it! I definitely cried about it too (there are pictures!) However, look at me now — always in search of ruffles and bows especially for Easter Sunday Mass 🙂
I linked some of my favs below this collage. Don’t forget to get your kids or boyfriend an Easter basket! and your pet deserves a special treat too 🙂 Happy Easter Month!

I am on the Whole30 Reintroduction Phase and had strawberry soy yogurt and coffee with sugar and soy milk this morning. I’m bringing back the legumes today. If you haven’t been following along, the program I just completed can be explained in this book.
Anyways, tomorrow is Aptil 1st and we are getting a SNOW storm later on today into tomorrow morning. WHY!? WHERE IS SPRING? Yesterday it was 50 degrees out and we were able to snap these pics. Today, I’ll be bundled up in my winter gear!
I have been wanting a navy coat that I can wear with sweats to run some quick errands and also that I can dress up for a date night and this quilted sleeve coat works for both scenarios. When I saw it was on sale, I had to get it for myself! (Don’t worry, if you read my last post, I didn’t buy it this year — I actually bought it in December as a Christmas gift for myself!) But now it’s even more discounted at 50% off, I wish they had more colors 🙂
My friend and I took (more…)
At the end of December, I told myself that I would make a conscious effort to not spend so much money in January after watching Minimalism:a documentary about the important things which helped me realize that I have a lot of stuff and a borderline unhealthy relationship with all of it. N has pressed me a few times to (more…)
