Happy Friday! I hope everyone finished their Christmas shopping by now! I have 2 more things to get — but they are so simple, I can pick them up today! (gift cards). I am also on my way to the farm to take some blog pictures and also pet all the animals! I am just obsessed with these little farm animals this season. I think because they remind me of Freddy. I swear they have the same mannerisms – it’s hard to explain, but if you were around farm animals, mostly sheep, llamas, and these mini donkeys — and then with Freddy, you would get what I am talking about.
Anyways, here are my Five Favorites this week:
— making these gingerbread mug toppers for our Christmas Day party at my parents; courtesy of Lauren Conrad’s blog—
— taking outfit pictures earlier in the week and seeing some miniature donkeys that are oh SO cute —
— Making Salmon en Croute with N for dinner – the cream cheese, lemon and spinach compliment each other so well —
— accidentally scheduling Fred’s groom appt 10 weeks out instead of 6 – he got so many knots and the groomer is booked (he doesn’t shed so this is the downfall). I secretly love grooming Fred, although it takes me a VERY long time split over the course of 3 days. It is more comfortable for the dog (and kind of relaxing for me)- Fred HATES going to the groomer, I mean does any dog like it? At least, at home, we can take breaks and I usually groom him when he’s napping so he doesn’t care too much — This and this and these are some of my favorite tools to use for touch ups and I use these clippers if I bite the bullet and do a full groom myself!
— getting all our Christmas presents delivered daily to the door (Thanks AP) and wrapping them up in recycled paper —
