Athleisure

You can style sweats like I did here with a skirt. You can also style athletic wear pretty easily. As I have mentioned before, I love to dress for comfort and this outfit is right up my alley. I have thrown on a pair of booties with ankle tight sweatpants throughout college – usually because I was in sweats doing homework and got a text to meet up at the cafeteria for dinner – I would toss on some ankle booties quick and take off. It was such a simple look that many people would not do, but it worked for me and still does. In fact, athleisure has been quite the trend in 2016 😉

If I had to classify my style, I’d say its boho feminine. I really do dress for comfort first and that’s really important to me. When I saw this TopShop ruffle top, (now only $39.99!) I had to get it and I had to get it in the black/white stripe too! It’s so me!  I have worn both with so many different combos already – white button down collared shirt underneath, or tucked into a high-waist skirt or with sweatpants for an athleisure look. Fashion Trends that are going to be huge in 2017

I like to think that I am ahead of the trends. I look at Parisian It Girl Fashion street style and read a ton of European Fashion blogs and incorporate what I like into my look. Usually those girls have the trends way before they become popular over here. Because lets face it, once they become so popular over here, you are way over it and move on to the next wave.

Given that, I don’t always (more…)
