Happy Friday!

I am on the Whole30 Reintroduction Phase and had strawberry soy yogurt and coffee with sugar and soy milk this morning. I’m bringing back the legumes today. If you haven’t been following along, the program I just completed can be explained in this book.

Anyways, tomorrow is Aptil 1st and we are getting a SNOW storm later on today into tomorrow morning. WHY!? WHERE IS SPRING? Yesterday it was 50 degrees out and we were able to snap these pics. Today, I’ll be bundled up in my winter gear!

Quilted Sleeve Coat with a touch of pink

I have been wanting a navy coat that I can wear with sweats to run some quick errands and also that I can dress up for a date night and this quilted sleeve coat works for both scenarios. When I saw it was on sale, I had to get it for myself! (Don’t worry, if you read my last post, I didn’t buy it this year — I actually bought it in December as a Christmas gift for myself!) But now it’s even more discounted at 50% off, I wish they had more colors 🙂

Fringe top

Have you ever bought something that you absolutely adored even though you weren’t sure where you would wear it (a fancy ball gown or maybe crystal embellished high heels or a designer suit for the men that read my blog!) You convinced yourself that one day you’d be invited to the Grammys (or you’d make your guy take you to the opera!), just so you’d feel better about making the purchase? You know, when you want to dress up super fancy and go somewhere super fancy type of thing? 

Anyways, I used to buy clothes with the intention of wearing them to an event, but I would either forget that I had those heels sitting in the back of my closet and go out to buy new ones or I would not like the color of the dress anymore – or it didn’t fit right — the list goes on. Luckily, I’m a grown woman now that rather spend her money on dog toys and groceries. sigh.
