Simple Pierogi Recipe

It only makes sense that a site called, You Bet Your Pierogi has a recipe for Pierogi, right? For those of you who are not of Eastern European descent or have not had the pleasure of knowing what pierogi are, read my post about them here.  You can for sure buy them in the frozen section of the grocery stores, but I like to make my own from scratch the way my ancestors did before mass food production and industrialized farming. Once you see how simple it is, you can totally do the same. PLUS, isn’t it better to make something that you know exactly what is going in it and not worry about preservatives and artificial flavorings? Hosting Mother’s Day Brunch — Recipe & Decor Ideas

It’s that time again to show your Mom just how special she really is. In my opinion, pet-mom’s count too! Nico, if you’re reading this! 😉 

My sis and I have been chatting back and forth about the spread we will have for our Mother’s Day brunch for Mrs. M! We both love baking and cooking, so that’s exactly what we will do for our mom. The weather does not look good so we had to resort to our Plan B – hosting indoors at my house. All outdoor events are off limits with a May Nor’easter heading our way #nofun

Naturally Dyed Easter Eggs

It is officially Easter Week! N is on a business trip and I have been quite busy this week – I was in a commercial yesterday! (I have always loved acting ever since I was 12 and started taking classes in the 7th grade! The long – all day shoots don’t bother me one bit.. I’ll share some BTS pics on tomorrow’s post!)

I haven’t had time to prepare my house for Easter this year!! There is just so much to do! Luckily, we do not host Easter so I guess it doesn’t matter as much?? But one day, I would love to have it all Eastery … (more…)

Whole30: Final Week Review

Is it already Day 30?!! ….of the program that felt like it would last for 100 days!  I am on to the fast-paced reintroduction phase and I am pretty excited! Honestly, I had to check the calendar like 3 times to be sure the 30 days was over. Once you get the hand of it, it kind of just goes by quickly 🙂

Am I glad I did this? Kinda. Do I think that I feel so much better without eating ____? Not really. Have I learned more about my body and food from this experience? Absolutely. Honestly though, life is too short and if I want to eat a freakin sushi roll every once in a while, I am going to. Everything in moderation and you’ll be golden.
