I hope everyone is doing well! I feel like I say this a lot but I am sorry for my lack of posts. I promise I have not given up on my blog!! I love it too much! Balancing a 9-5 job with a dog (my child) , keeping up with a workout routine, trying to eat and cook healthy meals at home and PLAN a wedding has been making my blogging time quite difficult. I defiently had a reality check when I went back to work like most of America #moneyyy — I do hope I can work from home for the majority of my career again soon, but until now I am posting whenever I can!
I had been wanting to post this gingham outfit. I had these pictures taken a month ago but am posting it now because I just noticed that this entire outfit is on SALE! score!
The pants are just $21 and I think would also look super cute with a body suit and jean jacket. The shirt is also on sale for $21 and would look super cute with skinny jeans or even white shorts with sandals.
I also have this gingham off the shoulder top which is a little more comfy to have on really hot days. I wore it for N’s bday party we had at Dave N Busters last weekend 🙂
Thanks for your support and following along with my blog. I appreciate my readers SO much. Next week, I will share my elegant wedding invitations that I scored for half the price!! Check back.
We’re heading to NYC again this weekend for my second dress fitting — follow along on Snap to see what we’re up to 🙂 We plan to explore CP again and more of the city.
I hope you all have a wonderful SUNNY (finally!) weekend.
I am on the Whole30 Reintroduction Phase and had strawberry soy yogurt and coffee with sugar and soy milk this morning. I’m bringing back the legumes today. If you haven’t been following along, the program I just completed can be explained in this book.
Anyways, tomorrow is Aptil 1st and we are getting a SNOW storm later on today into tomorrow morning. WHY!? WHERE IS SPRING? Yesterday it was 50 degrees out and we were able to snap these pics. Today, I’ll be bundled up in my winter gear!
I have been wanting a navy coat that I can wear with sweats to run some quick errands and also that I can dress up for a date night and this quilted sleeve coat works for both scenarios. When I saw it was on sale, I had to get it for myself! (Don’t worry, if you read my last post, I didn’t buy it this year — I actually bought it in December as a Christmas gift for myself!) But now it’s even more discounted at 50% off, I wish they had more colors 🙂
My friend and I took (more…)
You can style sweats like I did here with a skirt. You can also style athletic wear pretty easily. As I have mentioned before, I love to dress for comfort and this outfit is right up my alley. I have thrown on a pair of booties with ankle tight sweatpants throughout college – usually because I was in sweats doing homework and got a text to meet up at the cafeteria for dinner – I would toss on some ankle booties quick and take off. It was such a simple look that many people would not do, but it worked for me and still does. In fact, athleisure has been quite the trend in 2016 😉
Apres ski clothing can be on par with athleisure. I mean you ski all day, and then usually wear whatever is under your ski pants with some winter boots, a cozy sweater or (more…)
Although I do not consider myself a “girly girl”. I do love ruffles, lace, floral, and polka dots. I think it’s all about feeling feminine and chic. If I had to classify my style, I’d say its boho feminine. I really do dress for comfort first and that’s really important to me. When I saw this TopShop ruffle top, (now only $39.99!) I had to get it and I had to get it in the black/white stripe too! It’s so me! I have worn both with so many different combos already – white button down collared shirt underneath, or tucked into a high-waist skirt or with sweatpants for an athleisure look. (more…)
